The World if Ms. Sanity was in charge

Serene threw out an interesting challenge so here’s my list.
1.) Governments would behave in a transparent way. You know, like the current one promised they would (in the US.)
2.) People would actually take advantage of all the information that is out there on the internet regarding what is happening, what has happened, etc., instead of being self-delusional or delusional a la what the TV news and the newspapers tell them.
3.) No more war, period. The USA would be such a force for good in the world and so above board that the rest of the world would want to be like them rather than the USA being basically a pariah with the biggest guns.
4.) People including me would be better at communication.
5.) Chocolate would have no calories.

1. Time will tell.
2. Anyone who lives in the US and thinks that what they watch is “news” rather than corporate misinformation should have their head examined and head for The BBC and see what news should be.
3. It may already be too late for Alexis de Tocqueville’s sentiments but we shall see… America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great. America is certainly not good or great right now.
4. I’d love to communicate but I have dial-up and no cellphone coverage. Perhaps Obama can put me on his “expand broadband” list.
